The Diocese Of Masvingo

Vision

To preach the Gospel of Christ to all nations as enshrined in the Great commission.

Aims

The Diocese of Masvingo in its service to God and His people seeks to fulfil the following:
To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom
To teach, baptise and nurture new believers
To respond to human need by loving service
To transform unjust structures of society, to challenge violence of every kind and pursue peace and reconciliation
To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation, and sustain and renew the life of the earth.

It is the obligation and the inherent right of the Christian Church to preach the Gospel to all people. The whole Church is by its nature missionary, and so the work of evangelism a fundamental duty. The Diocese of Masvingo therefore places special value not only on its  churches and additional mission stations but also on its 15 Diocesan schools, hospitals and clinics like Daramombe as mission institutions through whose work the love of God is demonstrated.

The Diocese of Masvingo takes it as its duty and right to educate the youth and to assist the vulnerable communities by offering relief and development thereby contributing to the upgrading of people’s standard of living and helping them to experience the fullness of Christian life.
